Optimism about bonuses in London's financial services industry appears to have held up this year, with almost 60 per cent of employees expecting their bonuses to be higher than last year.
Research published today by Morgan McKinley, the recruitment consultancy, reveals that 44 per cent of City employees surveyed think they will see at least a 30 per cent increase on last year's bonus payment, while 21 per cent believe the increase will be 100 per cent or more.
