For the Princess Taghreed school, in one of Amman's poorer suburbs, the solution to Jordan's struggling school system has come in the form of two new computer labs, broadband internet connection and an online curriculum.
Funded in part by multinational companies such as Microsoft and Cisco, the changes at Taghreed school, one of 100 so-called Discovery schools, have placed Jordan at the forefront of efforts to bring information technology and private sector finance to public education reform.
