Rite Aid, the third largest US drugstore chain, on Thursday brought back a former chief financial officer after reporting a larger-than-expected loss.
The retailer, whose share price has dropped more than 60 per cent this year, said John Standley, a former chief financial officer who left in 2005, would serve as president and chief operating officer. Rite Aid also replaced its CFO with Frank Vitrano.
