Fiji seen as hunting ground for Iraq vacancies

The Pacific islands of Fiji may not seem an obvious recruiting ground for the fighting in Iraq, but that is where a British army inspection team has travelled this week.

The visit is testimony to the significant role played by Fijians in conflict-torn Iraq, even though the Fijian government decided not to join the US-led coalition in Iraq since 2003.
