Manchester Business School is to launch a four-week management bootcamp for 60 recent graduates in a bid to make young people in the north-west region of the UK more employable.

The programme, which will run from September, is similar to the internationally-recognised Bridge programme pioneered at the Tuck school at Dartmouth College in the US and is intended to give an intensive grounding in the basics of business. However, the funding for the High Flyers programme is part of a £500,000 package supported by the Economic Challenge Investment Fund to help tackle North West unemployment and boost the skill levels of the region’s workforce.
