Liechtenstein’s Crown Prince Alois has signalled the Alpine principality will make its banking system more transparent, as Berlin authorities investigate hundreds of Germans suspected of holding secret accounts there.
After the state opening of Liechtenstein’s 25-member parliament on Thursday, Prince Alois showed that he was keen to put a ferocious spat between Vaduz and the German capital behind him, saying it was time the “ping-pong” with Berlin came to an end.
