UK resilient amid European housing gloom

The UK has emerged as one of the most resilient performers in a European residential market which has seen a sudden end to the regional housing boom.

In spite of considerable gloom in the UK, the annual European housing report from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors will on Wednesday show that it has not been as badly hit as others on the continent.
