Sharon’s doctors to assess damage to his brain

Doctors plan to waken Ariel Sharon, Israeli prime minister, from a medically ind-uced coma on Monday to try to assess the damage caused by a massive stroke.

“This is what we have all been waiting for since Wed-nesday, to see how the prime minister’s brain is functioning,” said Dr Shlomo Mor-Yosef, director of Jerusalem’s Hadassah hospital.
