Zoellick vows to reunite World Bank

Robert Zoellick appealed for an end to the strife at the World Bank on Wednesday as he accepted President George W. Bush’s nomination to replace Paul Wolfowitz as president of the world’s leading multilateral development agency.

Mr Zoellick said “the World Bank has passed through a difficult time” and said there are “frustrations, anxieties and tensions about the past that could inhibit the future”.
