Chinese exports rose 7.5 per cent last month from May as Asia’s second largest economy generated its highest monthly shipments so far this year.

Similar positive signals emerged on Friday in month-on-month figures from South Korea, Japan, India and the Philippines, though on year-on-year basis, the data were uniformly negative.
