A teenage gunman shot and killed eight people at a school in Finland on Wednesday just hours after announcing plans for the rampage on YouTube, the popular video sharing website.

Police said on Wednesday night that “five boys, two girls and one adult woman were killed” and that the gunman had also shot and wounded himself. The dead woman was the school’s principal.
