Stock markets on the Continent advanced for the second successive week, lifted by positive earnings reports and dealmaking as gross domestic product figures released on Friday showed the eurozone emerging from recession.
The FTSE Eurofirst 300 climbed 2.7 per cent over the week to 1,019.41 after a 0.4 per cent gain on Friday.
