ABC Learning chief visits US to woo buyers

Eddy Groves, chief executive of ABC Learning Centres, arrived in the US over the weekend as shares in the childcare provider remained suspended pending an announcement about talks with potential buyers of some of its assets.

Potential buyers of its US centres are thought to include Knowledge Universe, backed by Michael Milken, and Bright Horizons Family Solutions, owned by Bain Capital.
