EMI, the music label owned by Guy Hands’ Terra Firma, is suing a Californian website for copyright infringement after it was found selling downloads of Beatles songs.
Beatles tracks have never been released for digital download as MP3 files, in spite of remarks by Sir Paul McCartney that he wanted to make them available on Apple’s iTunes.
