KPS set to meet Waterford union rep

KPS Capital Partners, the US private equity group in negotiations to buy Waterford Wedgwood, is next week to meet a representative of the main trade union at the luxury tableware maker to hear workers’ concerns about the potential takeover.

Senior KPS representatives will travel to Waterford in the Irish Republic after a meeting in Dublin with Martin Cullen, the Irish tourism minister who represents the Waterford area in parliament.
