China angered by Sarkozy’s Tibet meeting

As the financial crisis has unfolded in recent months, China has gone out of its way to appear the good international citizen.

With the country’s economy slowing, Chinese leaders had been thinking for some time about a fiscal stimulus package but they made sure to announce it before the recent G20 summit in Washington as a signal of good intent.
