BAE chases contracts through Indian link-ups

When the Indian navy renames the Admiral Gorshkov, a 30-year old Russian aircraft carrier, INS Vikramaditya, it will not come a moment too soon for the accountants in New Delhi’s finance ministry.

The name Admiral Gorshkov is an embarrassing blot on India’s relationship with its largest military supplier. The ship has become a byword for a ballooning budget.
