There is something particular about the handshakes of cabinet ministers considered young for the position they hold. Most politicians offer a firm shake and purposeful eye contact, but those ministers who fall into the youthful category grab just that little bit harder and look into your eyes just that little bit longer. Jyrki Katainen, Finland’s 35-year-old minister of finance, is no exception.
Mr Katainen was the sensation of Finland’s last parliamentary election in March.
