After a prolonged struggle with bad loans in the corporate sector, Polish bankers are plunging into retail, their confidence fuelled by record profits.

Bankers who were focused on debt recovery and cost cutting 18 months ago are now concentrating on making the most of the rapid growth of retail financial services, including services for small and medium sized businesses.
