Police urge increased vigilance in terrorism fight

Fears that London could face further terrorist attacks this year prompted police yesterday to launch their latest high-profile appeal for increased public vigilance.

Posters asking people to report suspicious bags, vehicles or activity are going up across the capital as part of a counter-terrorism advertising campaign backed by London police and transport chiefs.
