BSkyB to appeal over ITV ruling

British Sky Broadcasting will this week charge the Competition Commission of making mistakes at every turn in its recommendation that the satellite broadcaster sell most of its stake in ITV.

John Hutton, secretary of state for business, enterprise and regulatory reform, accepted the Competition Commission findings last month, calling for BSkyB to sell at least 10.4 percentage points of its 17.9 per cent holding.
