Tiger Airways to expand from S Korea base

Tiger Airways, the Singapore-based low-cost airline, plans to set up a carrier in South Korea as the next step of its expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.

The airline, which established a wholly owned subsidiary in Australia this year, said it had signed a letter of co-operation with Incheon City in South Korea to set up a budget airline to be called Incheon Tiger Airways.
