Anger at post strike plan

Businesses and consumers reacted with dismay on Thursday night as the postal union announced plans for two nationwide strikes next week over jobs, pay and working conditions, threatening widespread disruption to mail deliveries.

Mail centre staff and drivers will walk out next Thursday for 24 hours, followed by another 24-hour stoppage on Friday by delivery and collection staff.
