Icahn ends talks over Lions Gate board

Carl Icahn has set the stage for a hostile proxy fight with Lions Gate Entertainment after failing to secure any places on the Hollywood studio’s board.

The activist investor, a long-time shareholder in Lions Gate, has built a 15 per cent stake in the group and indicated in a regulatory filing that he would seek board representation.
