Fox News has found its liberal match. Appropriately - since Fox is in free-market, right-leaning America - it has found it in mixed- economy, left-leaning Sweden.

Cecilia Udden is a big name in Swedish broadcasting: a former correspondent in the Middle East and US, she now hosts a weekly radio debate, Konflikt, discussing the political and moral issues of the day on Sweden's equivalent of Radio 4. Just before the US election a prominent commentator of the right, Johan Norberg - who is attached to Timbro, a free-market think-tank in Stockholm - wrote an article in Expressen, a national daily, saying that Swedish coverage of the election was biased. The public radio morning news show, P-1 morgon, invited Norberg and Udden into the studio to debate the issue.
