Andrew Macfarlane is set to step down as finance director at Rentokil Initial early next year in a move that would conclude a clean sweep of the top jobs at the underperforming conglomerate in less than a year.

Mr Macfarlane, who joined Rentokil in 2005, has remained in his role amid a turbulent past year at the group, which provides services including parcel delivery, pest control and washroom cleaning.
