Liberty looks to expand internationally

The new chief executive of Liberty, the upmarket London department store, last night pledged to lead an international expansion by the company that would do "justice" to the name.

Geoffroy de La Bourdonnaye will succeed Iain Renwick as chief executive in July, after holding a series of brand management roles at Christian Lacroix, L'Oreal, PepsiCo and Disney.
