Investors targeted by animal rights body

Animal rights extremists turned their campaign of intimidation on to small private investors on Monday, sending letters to shareholders in GlaxoSmithKline.

The move represents the first time that individual shareholders in the pharmaceuticals industry have been targeted by the militants. The letters, which were sent to the homes of GSK shareholders warned that their details would be posted on the internet unless they sold their shares within a fortnight.
