European competition regulators have asked for comments on plans by EDF, the French energy company, to settle antitrust concerns about the supply of electricity to large industrial customers.

The European Commission had raised concerns that EDF’s contracting practices hindered the entry and expansion of competitors into the market for retail supplies of electricity to large industrial users.
