Icap, the world’s largest inter-dealer broker, has taken a step into the film distribution market with the opening of its first Los Angeles office, where it will base its new film and television sales operation.
The group has launched Icap Media and hopes to broker the sale of US film and television content. “Icap is well known for innovation in transactional processes, which we plan to bring to the media sector as well,” said Gennaro Buonocore, managing director on Tuesday.
