Action promised on business red tape

A decade of government rhetoric on red tape will be converted into action and should produce concrete results for employers within a year, the new minister for business said on Wednesday.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Lord Drayson said it would be “fair enough for business to judge, to tell what difference this minister has made, in 12 months’ time”.
