Virus emerges to hit handheld computers

Computer viruses have long been an annoying fixture on computers at work or at home. Now malicious code could soon start popping up on street corners, at meetings or even in bathrooms.

Antivirus researchers have discovered the world's first backdoor "Trojan horse" program, which would enable hackers to take control of other people's handheld computers, or PDAs.
