O’Neill’s chain fails to find buyers

Six O’Neill’s stores, the owners of which were put into administration last month, have been closed, resulting in 67 job losses.

Administrators KPMG said on Wednesday that it had failed to find buyers for the surfing goods stores, which were controlled by Sandcity, a former subsidiary of struggling retailer Blacks Leisure. Blacks put Sandcity into administration in September.
