Police ordered to scrap images of campaigner

The Metropolitan police force has been ordered to destroy photographs taken of an anti-arms trade campaigner because they interfered with his fundamental right to privacy.

The order came after a legal challenge, supported by the Liberty campaign group, succeeded at the Court of Appeal on Thursday.
