Apprentice cash vital, says CBI

Ministers must spend more money on apprenticeships to “tackle youth unemployment and avoid scarring a generation”, according to Britain’s leading employers’ organisation.

The CBI has also called on the government to cut back on “nice-to-have but non-essential training courses” to help pay for this.
