Eritrea has ordered European, US, Canadian and Russian members of the UN peacekeeping mission to leave the country within 10 days, a move that will deal a further blow to an increasingly crisis-ridden peace process.

The decision follows weeks of concerns that the border conflict between Eritrea and Ethiopia could be reignited in the wake of rising tensions and troop build-ups on both sides of the disputed boundary.
