The Economist Group has strengthened its hold on specialist media titles in Washington DC with the $43m (£22m) acquisition of Capitol Advantage.

The producer of Congress at Your Fingertips, a print guide to members of Congress, and the CapwizXC and Knowlegis online tools, will join its existing Roll Call and Gallery Watch titles.
