Afghans blame foreign agents for bomb

The Afghan government blamed a regional intelligence agency for a suicide bomb blast at the Indian embassy in Kabul on Monday that killed at least 41 people, including two senior Indian diplomats, and injured 139 others.

While no one claimed immediate responsibility for the blast, the interior ministry said it believed the attack “was carried out in co-ordination and consultation with an active intelligence service in the region”.
