O’Leary looks to skies as he keeps throttle open

So far the recession has been good for Ryanair and its iconoclastic leader Michael O’Leary.

In the space of 15 years as chief executive, he has taken a small lossmaking airline from the fringes of Europe and has built it into the world’s second most valuable carrier by market capitalisation, after Singapore Airlines.
