LA Times editor out in budget cut clash

James O’Shea was forced out as editor of the Los Angeles Times after a budget dispute with the paper’s publisher, David Hiller, the paper reported on its website on Sunday.

Mr O’Shea’s tenure lasted just 14 months before he became the third consecutive Times editor to leave the paper in a flap over budget cuts.
