Fresh violence in Georgia

Fresh outbreaks of violence in Georgia on Monday underlined the fragility of security in the country in the aftermath of the war with Russia.

Meanwhile, Russian forces continued to pull out from Georgian-controlled territory into South Ossetia and Abkhazia, two separatist enclaves recognised by the Kremlin as independent after the war.
