Scientists urged to work with innovation hotspots

Britain must urgently scale up its collaboration with Asia's fast-growing "innovation hotspots" if it is not to be left far behind in the global race to exploit science and technology, according to a report commissioned by the Foreign Office.

Demos, the London-based think-tank, will launch the Atlas of Ideas study today at an international conference on science, innovation and globalisation.
