Pub companies should expect another 18 months of tough trading before seeing signs of a full-scale recovery, according to Greene King’s chief executive.

Rooney Anand, head of the Suffolk-based brewer and pub operator, said he was looking ahead with “cautious optimism” following recent improved trading.
