Shares in Dunelm jumped more than 6 per cent on Tuesday after the soft furnishings and homeware company said it would beat consensus forecasts for full-year revenue on the back of better-than-expected sales growth.
Like-for-like sales at the Leicester-based group rose 15.1 per cent in the 17 weeks to October 31, boosted by the demise of Woolworths and Rosebys, with total sales up 25 per cent on the previous year at £154.7m ($253.9m, €172.5m).
