British Airways CFO moves to Ahold

Ahold announced on Monday that it had appointed John Rishton from British Airways as chief financial officer, to replace Hannu Ryöppönen, who left the Dutch retailer at the beginning of September.

Mr Rishton will take over duties at the world’s fourth largest retailer from January 1, 2006. He has been the CFO at British Airways since 2001.
