TSMC chairman returns to the helm

The 77-year-old founder and chairman of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company will on Friday return to the helm as chief executive of the world’s biggest contract chipmaker.

Morris Chang takes charge of TSMC’s day-to-day operations months after the Taiwanese chip group barely broke even in the first three months of this year.
