Boris bows down

Today Boris Johnson, editor of The Spectator, MP for Henley, Tory spokesman on culture, general good egg and TV star, will head up to Liverpool to apologise for a contentious editorial in his magazine.

Jealous souls looking forward to the "humbling of Boris" will probably be disappointed. He will take his Scouse kicking in good spirits and carry it off with his usual blustery aplomb.
