Doing good on a journey from the Tube

When Tim Campbell, 31, won the first series of BBC TV's The Apprentice in 2005, he landed a one-year contract as project director of Amstrad's new Health and Beauty division. He remained in Sir Alan Sugar's employment for a further year until he left in June 2007 to set up a business.

In 2008, he founded The Bright Ideas Trust, a charity that gives young entrepreneurs a chance to start in business and provides ongoing support through a network of mentors and specialist business advisers.
