Japanese companies are more optimistic about the likelihood that they will add to their workforces in the first quarter of 2005 amid signs that employers' hiring intentions are at their strongest levels in Asia and the US for years.
The findings, in a quarterly employment outlook survey released today by Manpower, also show that Asia-based employers are more optimistic about hiring in New Zealand and Hong Kong in the coming first quarter than they were ahead of the current fourth quarter.
