In praise of rediscovered and fashionably nuanced grey

Grey gets a bad fashion rap. For the past couple of weeks, it has been held responsible for not just gloomy skies but over-full sales racks as the fashion press wondered if the mere presence of grey in stores was putting women off their shopping.

Summarily described in non- entity terms as just a colour between black and white, grey is often seen as a negative hue. It is a little uninspired, gloomy, drab - a bit, well, grey.
